Mission:
To provide Humanitarian assistance by exploring resources and skills in the community to help people in need, enrich their lives and make a real difference in the various communities.

The organization recognizes the incredible width of need in the various communities and started establishing programs to address some of those needs as listed in the following sections. Current projects include promoting educational development in providing tutoring and mentoring, through partnerships with the Coptic Orthodox Christian Center (COCC) and the Coptic Educational Foundation (CEF), and assisting new immigrants in securing their professional licensing. We expect to expand our services to cover other areas as resources become available.

PROJECTS OF THE COPTIC OUTREACH
Completed a grant proposal to secure federal funding though the Us Department of Education to conduct a Talent Search Project in Orange County to assist disadvantaged students and adults (Up to 27 years old) in completing their high school education, enrolling in Post-secondary institution.

Completed July 2002, but the grant was not awarded to the Coptic Outreach .

Developed and implemented a scholarship program to award grants to qualified individuals who wish to secure their professional licensing and registration but are faced with some financial hardship. Working with the

Coptic Educational Foundation CEF. this program also offer Merit scholarship for high school graduates who are college bound.

The organization recognizes the incredible value mentoring and established a Mentoring program. Mentoring is not about making the individual better but rather equip the individual to meet and overcome the challenges that lie ahead and lead him to a level of fruitfulness they might not otherwise reach. Working with CEF, this program offer career days, Job shadowing, and workshops on college, how to apply for financial aid applications Initiated in 2005.

Implemented a Tutoring Program and expanded it to cover various communities. This program is open to the community and offers study skills as well as homework assistance, and emphasis on selected and subjects with the ultimate goal of elevating the students to higher level of academic success.

Coptic Outreach is a non-profit organization tax exempt under IRC 501(c)(3) rules of IRS. Its mission is to fight poverty through certain programs providing humanitarian assistance to help people in need.
